Where will the Academys Principles family attend?

We have received several reports which we are sure are genuine, as they are all unrelated and from County sources, regarding which schools the children in Mr Blackledges family have applied for. It would appear that there HAS been an application made to Dowdales School and not the Academy, depite his assurances that ‘Furness Academy will be a leading light in the Country’.  If that were true, why not put his family in there?

We know fine well that he is instantly going to respond to this by saying that they live in the local catchment area for that school and he wants them to integrate with the local community, or something of the sort.

There are plenty of excuses that he may make, we have gone through them all and each one has a response. Bullying for example, he has stated that there will be no bullying at all in the Academy.  Favoritism, each and every child will be treated equally and given chance to shine. etc etc….. The only true answer he can give is ‘It is one of the leading Schools in the Country, we’d be stupid not to choose it’.

We do not have any information whether Ulverston Victoria was applied for, our question was aimed purely at Dowdales, but it would be interesting if anybody could find out for us. It is after all going to end up second best by far in the area.
